The Symposium format gives the opportunity to network with speakers and colleagues from Primary and Secondary care alike – and to raise queries, questions and seek advice from our expert panel, especially on difficult or complex cases.

  • Faecal incontinence – how to assess and treat , Miss Carolynne Vaizey
  • Oestrogen opposition – a fraught pastime , Dr John Stevenson
  • NICE Guideline for Menopause: diagnosis and management: Summary, clinical implications and practical prescribing – Real women in the real world and what to do with them. A practical 80 minute session with short lectures and hands-on group work with product and case studies, chaired by Dr Heather Currie, Mrs Kathy Abernethy and Mrs Elaine Stephens
  • Gerald Swyer Memorial Lecture: The first flush of youth? The effects of Premature Ovarian Insufficiency, Professor Janice Rymer
  • Culture and contraception for young people, Dr Anusha Dias
  • Pelvic floor and the bladder – affecting life, health and sex, Miss Joan Pitkin
  • Open Forum: Your questions answered on any women’s health and wellbeing issues. Panel chaired by Miss Joan Pitkin
