Women aged 45–65 living in the UK are invited to take part in a University of Worcester research study exploring nutrition, insulin resistance, pre-diabetes and metabolic health during midlife.

The anonymous online survey takes around 20 minutes and asks about healthy eating, food choices, appetite and cravings, energy levels, metabolic health and menopausal status. You do not need any prior knowledge of insulin resistance or pre-diabetes to participate.

Who can take part?

You must be aged 45–65 and living in the UK. You cannot take part if you:

  • have had weight-loss surgery
  • are taking weight-loss medication
  • have type 1 diabetes
  • have or are receiving treatment for an eating disorder

The research has received ethical approval from the University of Worcester.
