Do you work shifts and experience perimenopause or menopause? Researchers want to hear from you
If you work a shift-based pattern (nights, early starts, rotating shifts, or anything outside the standard nine-to-five) and you’re currently going through perimenopause or menopause, a new research project wants to understand what that experience is really like for you.
A Master of Public Health (MPH) dissertation project being carried out at the University of Liverpool, is specifically looking at how women who work shifts manage their symptoms, what support they have at work, and how their working patterns and environment influence all of this.
The study is open to women who are currently experiencing perimenopause or menopause, and work in a shift-based role.
Taking part involves completing a short online questionnaire. When you submit the form, it won’t automatically collect personal details such as your name or email address unless you choose to provide them yourself.
Full details, including what participation involves and how your information will be used, are set out in the Participant Information Sheet before the survey.
The study has been reviewed and approved by the University of Liverpool’s Institute of Population Health Research Ethics Committee.
