Take part in a study on Chronic Pelvic Pain

We have had the following request from a PhD student in Health Psychology for female volunteers, aged 18 and over, who have experienced pelvic pain for a minimum of 3 months.

My name is Miznah Al-Abbadey and I am a Health Psychology PhD student at the University of Southampton.

My study is based on female pelvic pain and I am interested in exploring the impact of this on your life and aspects of your personal relationships.

I am therefore looking for female volunteers, aged 18 and over, who have experienced pelvic pain for a minimum of 3 months and, for those in a current relationship, their partners to participate in in-depth interviews.

  • Closing date for recruitment is 10 August 2013
  • Everything discussed in the interviews will be confidential.
  • Interviews can take place at either the University of Southampton, in participant’s home or over the telephone.

Participants expenses up to £20 will be reimbursed if agreed in advance.

Volunteers will be supporting research which will, in hope, lead to a better understanding of chronic pelvic pain.

If you would like to participate in my study, please contact me at maa1g10@soton.ac.uk

Thank you

Miznah
