Catriona Sutherland |
Catriona has been working as a specialist nurse in women's health in general practice for many years. She has a background in contraception, sexual health and the menopause. She also has experience with common gynaecological problems. Additionally, she is involved in the practice's weekly young persons' clinic, for those under 19 years of age. |
Juliet Johnson |
Juliet has worked in women's health and sexual and reproductive health care in community clinics in inner city London for thirty years. The clinics she has worked in have reflected her interest in women's health across the lifespan from teenage years to menopause and beyond. |
June Ower |
June has for many years been involved with women's health issues including family planning and working with menopausal women as well as Psychosexual Health Counselling. |
Lesley Woodward |
Lesley is a specialist in women's health and is involved as an advisor for women's health problems. She works with women who need gynaecological pre and post operative advice, advice on infertility and has special knowledge of management of the menopause and of osteoporosis. |
Robin Parsons |
Robin is an experienced RGN who has spent more than ten years specialising in the area of women's health and the menopause. This includes HRT – the pros and cons – as well as alternative treatments and therapies. |
Sheila Tyne |
Sheila has a background in gynaecological nursing and women's health, and has been working for the last 5 years as a specialist sexual health and family planning nurse in an integrated sexual health clinic. Sheila has run nurse led clinics for both specialities, with particular responsibility for a weekly young person's clinic, open to those who are 17 and younger. Sheila also works in a GP practice on a regular basis to organise and run a cytology clinic. |
Susie Alexander |
Susie has been working within gynaecology for 10 years. Aside from her work with WHC as a nurse counsellor, she also staffs various helplines for practice nurses, GPs, the general public and staff at University Hospital in Aberdeen. She is concerned with all aspects of women's health but specialises in the menopause. Susie also counsels pre and post op patients and hosts a weekly clinic, with a special interest in premature menopause especially for women who have had chemotherapy or radiotherapy. She is also a committee member of the RCN Menopause Forum Group. |
Una Stevens |
Una currently specialises in gynaecological nursing and has a wide range of experience in surgery and oncology as well as aspects of the menopause, sexual health and psychosexual counselling. |
